Mr Sydney Hadebe

Mr Sydney Hadebe is the CEO of LEAP Foundation. He was at one time a professional footballer who played for some of the top and successful football clubs in South Africa. He however showed his versatility, sagacity and tenacity by also studying for academic degrees. He eventually obtained his degree in Geology and Earth Sciences from University of the Witwatersrand (WITS). He is also about to earn his Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree.


Mr Hadebe was previously a High School educator, teaching Mathematics and Science before becoming a Manager at the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) for three years. He thereafter joined Standard Bank Group, South Africa as Corporate Social Responsibility Manager. His role in that position was to manage education programmes. He was later appointed the Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs Manager for IBM South Africa, where he served from 2011 to 2020.


Mr Hadebe formerly served as Board member and Chairperson of Show Me Your Number & United Ways, an NGO that facilitates training and development of professional football players on health and wellness issues. Some of his other notable public spirited and community empowering appointments include founding Board Member of United Way South Africa; Member of the Regenesys Entrepreneurship Advisory Forum; Member of Gauteng Aids Council; Member of the Gauteng Civic Society Forum.


As an astute leader and resourceful manager, Mr Hadebe has displayed immense skills and capacity with regard to critical thinking and strategic management, as well as project and human resource management. These are some of the sterling qualities that have made him the recipient of several local and international awards and honour. It is these same qualities that he brings on board as he leads LEAP Foundation to achieve its goals, ensuring that the Organisation continues to make sustainable impact in the focus areas of interest.

Mrs Nosizwe Abada

Mrs Nosizwe Abada is a leadership and executive coach, as well as business consultant with more than 25 years of successful corporate experience in senior management positions. She has also had the opportunity to serve as an executive and non-executive member of several boards of notable organisations in different sectors. Professionally, she is a specialist consultant on supply chain and procurement, as well as facilitator of business development projects across various industries. This is in addition to her coaching practice, which is focused on supporting company executives to successfully adapt best organisational practices and organisational leadership development processes.


Mrs Nosizwe Abada who holds a Master of Administration (MBA) degree has wide ranging leadership and management experience in well known organisations such as Makro, Transnet, MassMart, Sasol, Game, Standard Bank, Total SA, MassCash, and Siyahamba Engineering. Her expertise in this regard is particularly shown in areas of policy formulation and implementation, strategic planning, as well as leading people from diverse backgrounds.


She is passionate about the care of children and the development of youths as future leaders. This passion has made her to serve as Chairperson of Find Your Fire (FYF) Youth Campaign. As a strong supporter of youth coaching, she is one of the coaches involved in the Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund. She is n this regard coaching a number of youths that are participating in the programme, as well as serving as a facilitator and group project supervisor on the programme.


As a champion for women development, she has attended and led international conferences on women empowerment.. Her unique approach in facilitating change has been shaped by her experience in leading business development teams, as well as through supporting top executives to develop leadership transformation programmes. Her strong areas include issues relating to Black Economic Empowerment Principles, Values Driven Leadership Principles, Affirmative Procurement, high-potential leadership organisation mentoring, strategic planning, team development and restructuring for growth projects.

Dr Emmanuel Imevbore

Dr Emmanuel Imevbore, a management consultant, business strategist, executive coach and author serves as Executive Director of LEAP Foundation. As an impact coach, he has in the past 23 years worked with individuals, business owners, corporate leaders, organisational teams, and businesses of all sizes to activate repeatable and sustainable success.


He is the developer of the “STEP UP” (Strategy, Thought, Energy and Passion) coaching model, which supports people and organisations to discover and leverage their uniqueness for comparative advantage. His goal and motivation through this coaching model is to provide support platforms and opportunities to help people to enjoy the journey of life. It is to inspire them to set and achieve important and inspiring goals more confidently and purposefully, in order to achieve true life purpose.


Dr. Imevbore was formerly a university lecturer and researcher for six years, after obtaining his Doctorate Degree in 1990. He thereafter became a director of different companies and consultant/adviser to several private and public sector operators across Africa. This experience, especially the benefit of serving as a Director of a South African State Owned Enterprise (SOE) facilitated his greater interest executive and leadership coaching, which has become his specialty over the years of his coaching practice.


He is the Chairman of CEED Group, a management consulting, wealth creation and strategic business investment organisation, with interests in finance, education, publishing, real estate, oil and gas, tourism and agriculture. He is also the Co-Founder and CEO of International Coaching and Mentoring Institute (ICMI), a global provider of specialist coaching and coach-training solutions operating in several countries within and outside Africa.


His corporate leadership and management experience, which cuts across different business sectors, has inspired him to develop the “Limitless Leadership Programme”, a specialist One-on-One and Group Coaching intervention that builds agile leadership and high performance teams. The focus is on facilitating inspirational and transformational leadership in four key areas: Leadership Core; Leadership Credibility; Leadership Capacity; and Leadership Connections. The results of the engagement are evident in improved leadership capabilities. The most critical areas are: communication, conflict management, commitment, credibility, care, courage and consistency, as leaders are supported to lead with purpose, pride, passion and precision.


Dr Imevbore is the author of several books on business development, impact coaching and effective leadership. Ms Lolo Maphophe

Ms. Lolo Maphophe is an accomplished Marketing and Communications specialist, a qualified Journalist, and a facilitator in skills development. She is currently leading Sokoti Projects, a social enterprise that is designed to help bring solutions to some pressing issues of many communities in South Africa.


Ms. Lolo Maphophe has built a solid professional career that spans over 20 years. This has given her extensive exposure to diverse sectors that include Government, Private and Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) sectors.

In recent years, she has served as IBM South Africa’s Country Internal Communications and Brand Manager, and later as Foundation Manager for Indigo Kulani Educational Foundation. This is especially where her passion for working with, and empowering youths was ignited and developed.


She currently consults for Afrika Tikkun Services, a social enterprise that aims to enable South Africa’s youths to be economically empowered – on the Global Skills (GSI) program. The GSI is a global social impact initiative by Microsoft Group, which aims to upskill about 50 000 South Africans in digital skills. This is in direct response to the devastating and disruptive effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program in this regard addresses problems of job losses primarily due to COVID-19. It consequently provides opportunities for individuals participating in the program to prepare themselves for in-demand jobs for the new digital economy post the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Lolo Maphophe is effectively responsible for facilitating access to the program for South Africa’s youths at grassroots level.


Ms. Lolo Maphophe writes for Mukurukuru Media as a freelance journalist, while also lending her corporate skills to the publication’s operations. Her passion is to work on stories that expose issues of inequality in South Africa. As a result, she uses her exposure, experience and knowledge to tell stories that highlight the plight of marginalised communities.


She is a practicing coach, with so much passion for youth coaching. She is in this regard able to use her coaching and communication skills to support younger people to become empowered to make sustainable contributions to community development. She is thus actively involved as a coach, facilitator and group project supervisor on the Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.
